I thought I’d write a poem, as it’s been a little while,
Nothing too serious really, a little something to raise a smile,
Because the world is full of trouble, heartache and depression,
War, Covid, Tories, Brexit and a good chance of recession,
Interest rates are on the up, the housing market’s slowing,
Our bank balances are shrinking, whilst our mortgages are growing,
Christmas is around the corner, the nights are drawing in,
The air is getting colder and my hair is growing thin,
But one thing we must all remember, it can never be as bad,
Things could be much worse, you could be Jeffrey Dhamer’s dad.
